Grading Policy
Projects: 65%
Quizzes: 25%
Classwork/Homework: 10%
Marine science is a project-based course. Students will engage in individual and group projects throughout the year. These will make up the majority of the grade for the course.
This course is an elective. Many students have major responsibilities outside of class, from IB courses to jobs. Therefore, homework assignments will be kept to a minimum. Most projects will include in-class work time.
